I started on the show floor at 17 at Chicago's McCormick Place, the fourth generation of my family in the trade show business, working electrical warehouse inventory straight out of high school. As a labor control clerk I keyed handwritten sign-in sheets for crews of up to 500 electricians a show, first in and last out, and built a barcode labor-tracking system to replace them.

From there I coordinated electrical for shows like IMTS, moved to San Diego to run the market's electrical production, and became Regional Operations Manager across five Southern California markets: work orders, labor dispatch, labor budgets and every exhibitor on every show. Most recently I ran payroll, new-hire onboarding and monthly benefit contributions for three labor locals on the West Coast.

I built myCrewIQ so crews get paid accurately without anyone losing their weekend to spreadsheets. Paper sign-in sheets in. Payroll files out. Nothing changes on the floor.

"I keyed thousands of handwritten hours by hand for years. myCrewIQ wasn't built by software developers guessing at payroll — it was built from years of running crews, processing handwritten hours, and preparing contribution reports where the rules are argued and applied on the floor."
